At Peaceful Mind Mental Health, we believe all people who prioritize their mental health flourish with access to effective treatment, supportive services, and communities that are inclusive and welcoming. Whole-person wellness starts at PMMH.
We consider each person in their entirety; integrating treatment, care and resources which support a healthy mind, body, and spirit. We encourage each person to define their life goals— physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, vocational, and interpersonal—and we assist to achieve them. Our approach assists people in leading full lives with a focus on overall health and well-being.
A person’s mental health is more than a diagnosis. We recognize that there are many factors, including environmental, socioeconomic, cultural, etc., that should be considered when providing services. We aim to foster hope, health and well-being that assists the clients life overall.
We lead with empathy, focus on strengths, and are committed to ensuring client success. We understand that the most important part of successful treatment is the client/therapist relationship. We strive to put client needs and values at the forefront of decision-making and service planning. We pride ourselves on providing services that will meet the client’s overall needs.
Each therapist has unique skills and specialties that are utilized in their practice. All therapists continually monitor to ensure a good fit and best practice services are being offered. We are comfortable with most diagnoses. However, if we do not feel confident with your situation, we will refer you to another specialist or educate ourselves in the area.
Hello! Please call me Becky, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Minnesota and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Colorado, Montana and Utah. I have my Masters in Clinical Social Work and have been providing Mental Healthcare since 2013. I offer telehealth services.
Prior to PMMH, I worked in home for over four years with all ages and all diagnoses. I have also worked in a residential Substance Use Disorder facility where I gained valuable experience with dual diagnoses clients. Before my journey into Social Work and Mental Health I was employed for ten years in a Nursing Home and gained knowledge of Geriatrics and the day to day struggles that can occur for this age group.
My specialties are Trauma, Insomnia, Depression, Anxiety, as well as care and treatment with the LGBTQIA+ community. I work with all ages from birth to 99+.
On the personal side, I have three children. They are all successful adults and I couldn't be prouder of them. I love to travel and do so any chance I can. I also enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, reading and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Hi there! My name is Victoria and I work at PMMH as an Office Manager and Psychotherapist. I graduated from the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) in 2021 with my Master’s in Social Work. Prior to this, I spent three years supporting children and families through some of their most challenging moments in a human services setting. I currently offer video services on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with limited in -person availabilities on Mondays and Thursdays in our New York Mills office.
I bring a trauma-informed, compassionate and realistic approach to therapy. I understand how overwhelming life can feel—especially when navigating transitions, relationships, loss, or healing from past experiences. I aim to assist teens and young adults in developing emotional resilience, strengthening their sense of self and building healthy coping tools. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore ones self on a deeper level. I follow a strengths-based, person-centered approach and understand each client deserves a unique approach. My specialities include anxiety, depression and stress management.
I love exploring new places, reading, yoga, and hiking. I enjoy spending time in my garden and going camping with my husband and two children!
If you have any question— feel free to reach out and ask. I look forward to connecting!

Hello, I’m Nomi. My pronouns are she/her/s and they/them/theirs. I hold a clinically focused MSW from The College of St. Scholastica. I graduated in the spring of 2022, and I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). My educational background is seeded in the B.A. in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies I earned through the University of MN, Duluth in 2013.
I know what it feels like to experience life as if your resilience, tenacity, and unwavering spirit have gone missing. I aspire to be the therapist who you come to when you've got a missing poster up in the forest of your heart for that dog in you. Through exploration of your inner and outer landscape we will bring that dog in you home—together. You will meet yourself again.
"Suppose we did our work like the snow, quietly, quietly. Leaving nothing out." -Wendell Berry
The more-than-human world has never stopped loving you. You are the one who knows what hurts, what longs to grow, and what you’re ready to face. In our work together, you choose the direction. Before becoming a therapist, I supported medical professionals and patients as an administrative professional in Hem/Onc, Women's Health, and Surgical/Emergency Medicine for a decade. I am uniquely situated to understand and work with both seekers and providers of medical care.
I currently work with adults. I help by incorporating resonance, nature-based activities, mindfulness, neuroscience, and body-based practices in our sessions. I am skilled at supporting gender-affirmation, including providing letters of support when needed.
I work especially well with those who are grieving, experiencing heartache, and moving from one stage of life to another. You don't need more insight; you need more balance between rest and action, more expression, more presence, more zest, more play, more relational attunement, resonance, and companionship. Therapy with me is filled with expressions of tears and laughter, poetry, art, metaphors and invitations to reconnect to the more-than-human world. My clients often leave our sessions feeling more clarity, empowerment, soulful curiosity and connection to their own energy.
I am committed to helping you connect with yourself. I believe in cultivating fierce self-compassion and a trust in life, no matter what is happening. Our work may be through telehealth or in person outdoors. If you’re ready to go out searching for that dog in you reach out, you don't have to go alone!

Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Annastasia but I also go by Stasia. I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with an MSW from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I support Minnesota-based clients through telehealth therapy, Monday through Friday, and I also offer nature-based walk-and-talk therapy at local parks in Prior Lake and Savage, MN. You don’t have to live in the immediate area for Walk-and-Talks—just have the means to meet me there! Walk-and-talk therapy can be great for those who feel more at ease processing thoughts while moving rather than sitting face-to-face (though we can stop at picnic tables and benches along the way for breaks, or spend our session there! Whatever feels natural and comfortable for you). Being outdoors can promote mindfulness, reduce stress, and encourage a sense of openness.
Additionally, I offer animal-assisted therapy with my medium-sized Corgi mix, Sparky, who is a CGC-certified dog. Interacting with him will be optional, but his presence could provide comfort, support, and a calming influence.
My goal is to make therapy welcoming and uplifting—a space where you can be your true self, with a bit of humor to keep things engaging. I love working with people ready for positive change. As an LGBTQIA+ allied therapist, I value advocacy, social justice, and authenticity. I’m trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), focusing on mindfulness, acceptance, and meaningful action to help clients manage distress and build resilience. My specialties include depression, codependency, anxiety, relationship issues and attachment struggles, phase-of-life, and life transition assistance.
A bit more about me: I started my career in Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health (ARMHS) before moving into oncology social work and program management. In 2022, I transitioned to full-time therapy, and I also work as a Mobile Crisis Clinician in the evenings. Outside of work, I love reading (Pride and Prejudice is my favorite!), going to concerts, hiking, and exploring Minnesota’s North Shore. I spend lots of time with my partner and Sparky, who might even pop into a telehealth session now and then (as well as Walk-and-Talks, if requested!). I’d love to connect with you!
I offer free 15-minute consultations—reach out, and let’s get started!

Hello, my name is Tom and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Dakota. I have been providing services with Peaceful Mind Mental Health for approximately three years. Prior to my career in mental health I gained experience in a variety of social service sectors, including county social services, school social work, residential treatment, and most recently directing the program services of an Autism clinic specializing in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurocognitive disorders.
I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from Walden University in 2021 and completed my clinical field study and clinical supervision with Peaceful Mind Mental Health. I currently provide services to children, adolescents, and adults and provide individual, couples, families, and group intervention. Additionally, I provide assessments for children and adults suspecting Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I obtained advanced certification in LGBTQ+, trauma, and Autism Spectrum Disorder in order to better provide services to these populations. Additionally, I am certified in Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood.
I thoroughly enjoy working with all populations, but hold a particular interest in providing trauma informed care and relationships and attachments. I currently provide in-person and telehealth services out of our Alexandria and New York Mills offices and provide community in-home supports in the surrounding communities.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children and our dog, Emma. We stay active in extra-curricular events and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and enjoying nature. My interests include drawing and painting and mastering the skill of self-care.
Together, we'll embrace hope and healing, and set sail toward a brighter tomorrow.

Hello! I’m Alissa. I have my master's in social work and have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I have my LICSW in Minnesota and my LCSW in Texas. I work with adults 18 and over. I have experience with many different diagnoses but have a passion for working with individuals who have BPD. I offer services through Telehealth only.
I feel that therapy is a relationship, and that trust is important to reach your goals. I like to meet people where they are at in their mental health journey, understanding everyone is different and needs different things. I have like using DBT skills but have used many different approaches depending on what is the best fit for the individual.
In my free time I love to be outside and spend time with friends and family.

Hi, I’m Chanci (she/her). I received my first masters degree in One Health with a community
advocacy concentration from University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2023, focusing on the application
of the One Health framework and Indigenous ways of healing in mental and community
wellness. I additionally received my Masters of Social Work with a clinical concentration from
Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2025.
I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and families in educational,
clinical, and non-profit settings, focusing most recently on advocacy, support, and program
development for those who have experienced or witnessed violence. I have special interests in
working with children, adolescents, LGBTQIA2S+ youth, and survivors of trafficking, but I really
just want to help all people who feel a need for healing and connection. We engage in this
process together, through the application of One Health and healing-centered engagement
theoretical frameworks, by focusing on healing through building relationships and
community-centered resources in order to facilitate wellness.
When I’m not working, I try to appreciate the beauty and energy in my town of Fairbanks, Alaska
with my furry little family. I enjoy being in nature, appreciating art and music, traveling, cooking
Indian food, gardening, and constantly learning about the world. I am also a recently certified
Reiki I and II (Usai/Holy Fire III Reiki Ryoho) practitioner.

Hello there, my name is Kassie Koivula, and I am the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at Peaceful Mind Mental Health! In my role, I focus on building meaningful relationships between our organization, our clients, and the communities we serve. I am passionate about spreading awareness of mental health resources and helping people connect with the support they need.
I currently hold three college degrees and am working towards my master’s to Doctorate program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Phoenix. My academic journey began at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where I double majored in Sociology and Psychology and earned two associate degrees in 2022. I then transferred to St. Cloud State University, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Community Psychology in 2023.
Throughout my education, I have maintained a GPA of 3.87 or higher, which reflects my dedication to my studies and my dream of becoming a licensed therapist. I am proud to be an alumna and active member of several honor societies, including Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology; Chi Sigma Iota, the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International; Tau Sigma National Honor Society; and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
When I am not working or studying full time, I love to travel with my partner and our two red heeler puppies, who we rescued while traveling across the United States. I enjoy reading, especially romance and horror novels, and I am a big fan of true crime documentaries and biographical films. I also love volunteering with Feed My Starving Children, participating in local county events, and supporting my community whenever I can. One of my favorite ways to give back is by mentoring youth and providing free tutoring to support students through the AVID program, helping them build confidence and access opportunities they might not otherwise have.
My passion for mental health, education, and community service continues to inspire everything I do. I believe that even small acts of connection and compassion can make a lasting difference.

Hello! My name is Mary, and I hold dual master’s degrees—one in psychology and rehabilitation counseling, and another in administration and criminal justice. Currently, I am enriching my expertise by pursuing a master’s in social work, which allows me to deepen my understanding of human behavior and social systems.
At present, I am engaged in a clinical field practicum with Peaceful Mind Mental Health agency, where I can apply my knowledge in a practical setting. With over 20 years of dedicated experience in the mental health field, I have worked as a behavioral analyst, counselor, and case manager.
I am profoundly passionate about empowering individuals to discover their own capacity for self-help. My goal is to guide others in recognizing their unique strengths and how they can leverage these assets to navigate and overcome the challenges they face in life. By fostering this sense of empowerment, I aim to help people realize that they possess the resilience needed to transform their lives.
In my personal time I spend time with family and my two pugs (Ellie and Moka), I like to read, draw, play guitar and play cribbage with friends and family.
